CÂ?est le chanteur, le leader, le moteur du groupe, sans sa personnalité, les Rubettes seraient depuis longtemps tombés aux oubliettes.
En 2000, il décide de reformer le groupe dÂ?origine, ce projet provoque le départ dÂ?Alex Bines le batteur et la colère de Bill Hurd lÂ?organiste qui montent un autre groupe The Rubettes avec Bill Hurd.

Alan a écrit un nombre impressionnant de chansons pour le groupe et mène en parallèle une carrière solo Que vous pourrez bientôt découvrir sur le site, ainsi que ses débuts dans le monde musical.
